In 2017, we committed to saving our customers $2.8 billion in energy costs and helping customers avoid 20 million metric tons of CO2 emissions through the sale of ENERGY STAR®-certified products.
In 2018 alone, we saved customers $1.2 billion in energy costs and helped them avoid 7 million metric tons of CO2. According to the EPA, the typical American household spends about $2,000 a year on energy bills – and with ENERGY STAR products, a home can use up to 30% less energy while saving more than $575 a year on energy bills. We are proud to offer ENERGY STAR products across our store, making it easy for customers to choose products that save money and protect the environment.
