Better Batteries Help Reduce Carbon Emissions at Home

For years, TTI has been leading advancements in lithium-ion battery technology, creating cordless products that are more reliable, more powerful and more accessible. In doing so, TTI is making it possible to reduce the use of combustible engines in household chores and thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The RYOBI Cordless Lawn Mower is a perfect example. To better understand the difference in carbon emissions that cordless equipment provides, TTI asked an independent expert to compare the RYOBI Cordless Lawn Mower with one of its combustible-engine lawn mowers. The tests revealed that after 500 uses, the RYOBI Cordless Lawn Mower had significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions. Specifically, the carbon footprint of the RYOBI Cordless Lawn Mower was approximately 166% or 2.6 times lower than the gas-powered mower.
